Hello there! I’m Dr. Kai, and I grew up in Winnipeg where I attended the University of Manitoba, graduating with a degree in Microbiology, and later, Doctor of Dental Medicine. I am fluent in English and Cantonese.
Since 2015 I have been practicing dentistry, originally in Winnipeg before moving to the Waterloo region. I am very sad to leave Winnipeg’s very mild winters and moderate summers that were mosquito free. A fun fact: I relate to the crab, being that we both can be very crafty.
I value health, family, and friends as the most important things in life. With dentistry, I would like to bring your oral health to the the highest state possible. Teeth and the oral cavity play a vital role in overall health, whether that is cosmetics such as your facial appearance, function such as chewing and speaking, breathing which can affect your sleep, or your underlying body’s health. There are many reasons to care for your teeth, you will not find a person with dentures that does not regret not taking better care of their teeth at an early age.
With small changes you can make a significant impact on your health. I am committed to helping you care for, and maintaining your smile.
